just call her picasso...

i have been meaning to post this forever and just ran across the photo in my computer. just before i went into the hospital the 2nd time around we went to lunch at pf changs after a doctors appointment. aubree got bored, as usual, and started drawing on her napkin. here is what she came up with.

the picture quality is terrible because i took this with my phone in a dark restaurant but check it out...not bad for a 3 year old. i asked her who it was and she said princess aubree so i am guessing its a self portrait.

*Oh happy day*

I am quite possibly the happiest girl in the world right now!

First...We took some awesome pictures with Apryl this morning! I can't wait to see them. I know they are going to be amazing. Everything that comes out of her camera turns out great!

Second...I got my floors! Well, I ordered them, and they will be here next week. Anyone that knows me can tell you that I hate the floors in this house and have griped since day one to have them replaced so I am a happy happy girl. I hate to admit it, but part of what makes it so great is I saved most of the money to have it done on my own and I have never saved for anything in my life. Zach was right...it does make it that much sweeter when you finally get whatcha want.

Good news!

I talked to Griffins nurse this morning and she said he had a great night. He has had all bottles since 4 pm yesterday so I am HOPING that he has "turned a corner" in the feeding area. She also said we could bring his carseat up there and his picture outfit which means the end is in sight! PRAISE THE LORD!
He will probably have to prove his eating skills for a day or two and then pass his "carseat test" (sitting in the carseat for an hour on monitors with no breathing troubles) and then he can come home to us.
Just thought I would pass along the great news! We are headed off to feed him and I will take new pictures. I'll try to post those along with Aubree's pictures from playing in the snow this morning.
